The ABU DHABI MEDIA COMPANY now has the rights to the English Premier League for the next three consecutive seasons 2010/11, 2011/12, and 2013/14. It has taken over from the Orbit Showtime Network.

The AD Sports package consists of 10 HD channels.

Fox Series HD
National Geographic Abu Dhabi HD
In an attempt to prevent piracy ADMC have teamed up with Humax and
are using a Humax HD Receiver with an embedded 12 month subscription.
Individual Abu Dhabi smartcards will also be available. The Abu Dhabi
Sport card is paired with the Humax HD box.



RECEPTION

The Abu Dhabi package will be broadcast from the same satellite as
Showtime - Nilesat at 7 degrees west and from Badar 6.

Reception of Nilesat in the UK and Ireland is not possible but
it may be possible to get the signal for Badar 6. For those people
not lucky enough to be able to receive signals from this satellite
we recommend our Sky Italia packages. These packages also give
excellent coverage of the EPL but will not show quite as many
matches as Abu Dhabi Sports. However they do include lots more
 different competitions and superb coverage of all major
sports throughout the world.
